Like many businesses, we are learning how to adapt through this difficult time. As our communities continue to feel the impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to communicate with you to share the steps we are taking to ensure that you, our team members, and the communities we live in, remain safe and healthy. Pest Control has been listed as an “essential business” by the state of Connecticut, and as such, we will continue to be available for your servicing needs.
First of all, our heart goes out to those of you who have been affected by the virus. The health and wellness of our team members and customers is top priority, and we are monitoring this situation closely. We have developed action and response protocols at our offices to maintain a safe environment, and we are following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and other public health organizations.
To date, we have enacted the following to enable social distancing measures to the best of our ability within our business:
- Office staff has been given the ability to work remotely, as well as rotation procedures for inhouse needs.
- Technicians have been offered vehicle access to start and finish their workdays from their residence.
As we move into spring, exterior servicing begins for many of you. These treatments are important to reduce the need for interior servicing. We ask at this time that interior servicing be performed only where pest pressures make it absolutely necessary, and to understand we will be asking for proper distancing for our technicians should they need to enter your home or business.
